questuon for you guys

if i add different viscosity oil in my car is that bad
i think i got it changed with 5w 15 or 0w 15
and want to add 5w 30
can i or should i just buy the other oil
any comments plz

why do you want to put additional oil?
did the car use some?
or ???

Most of the time blending oil is fine. Just use your head and read the bottles.

I dont think it matters. I think right now I have conventional and synthetic in my R right now bc I ran out of synthetic during my last oil change

using two different viscosities usually averages out like octane from gas. say you used 87 and 91 octane you get 89. idk what it would do if you used not synthetic with synthetic. i just stick with amsoil...lasts forever...
