was trying to figure out a good out the door offer price. I have seen a couple other postings of guys getting some great deals on theres.

I was kind of thinking about 18500 O.T.D.

the car would be out of the city .. so i would be dealing with an Internet sales guy I believe. I hear there is a lot less bullshit going through them. Think i should try shooting at a lower OTD price ? any tips for reaching agreements on price before I drive several hours and avoid any monkey business ?

 

If this is a dealer, I'd have to say good luck because the dealer will be taking a hit of $1500 from his original asking price + you are asking him to eat the approx. $1100 in tax to get it for $18500 out the door.

i'm getting a deal ( prvate seller) s2k 2000, 31k miles, garage keep .... for $16,700

 

You can do alot better with a private seller, but it'll require a personal loan through a bank or private institution like that...and you may not get as good an APR. The price honestly isnt incredibly high, but its higher than i would pay for the car...if you have patience, they'll either come down (dont pay more than what you feel is fair...even if that means waiting a few weeks). Also...keep looking, not just at honda dealers, but all dealers...S2000's pop up here and there all the time.
