Who can make a custom distributor cap?
I've converted to individual coils (Ultra MDI) today...

... and the distributor is now except the sensors useless. I would like to have a flat (carbon) cap without the terminals. Who could make one?

i could not get anybody to make me one out of aluminum so i had to make one myself. And i have about 80 thousand hours in it so i will not make another one. If you find somebody to make one out of carbon or what ever, pm me i am interested in buying one.

The Power FC requires the stock cam and crankshaft sensor and the Ultra MDI plugs between the engine harness and distributor.

If I knew it was worth my time, I could certainly make some carbon fiber caps. I didn't know that many people were running individual coil setups which is why I decided not to make them originally.

I guess you could sell at least 10 for about $50. You could get stock caps and cut off the terminals and then put on 1 layer of carbon.

Yeah, that would be one option, but overlay tends to be more labor intensive than simply molding.
I will put together a mockup and if anyone is still interested then I will make a few.

overlaying takes no time at all...I've done alot of overlaying for parts and i have also reverse molded my entire interior and made it out of cf. I would think the overlaying it would be the way to go...I can do a few if anyone wants them done...just pm me. My name is 69vette over at ls1tech.com. I'm not really all about hondas but i enjoy reading this forum and would be willing to help anyone out that needs it. Just let me know

Sorry I haven't been back yet people. I got this b*tch and her dad riding my *** to finish her Civic. I'm doing my best, but this is a CVT car and I am getting into some small mounting issues which have caused delay.
I'll be here when I get 1 or two of these done.
Carbjunkie...there are quite a few advantages to individual coils. Increased spark output to eliminate misfire in high cylinder pressures is one reason. Also, for high revving engines, a rotor can lead to sparks jumping the gap and causing pre-ignition and things like that. The coils eliminate that problem.
