Hey, I have a 96 vtec ex and my exhaust got a hole in it about the size of a quarter. It's just in one of the pipes, not the actual muffler or resonator or cat converter. I don't want to spend the money right now on it and was wondering if there is an easy way just to patch it up.

 

some jb weld a beer can and a some exhaust clamps should do the trick

 

IF you go to your local pepboys or napa you can buy a metal clamp that will act as a patch. You can pick one up for around 10 dollars. that should be a good temporary fix

 

JB weld has worked for me in circumstances such as yours. However, I used a big hose clamp over my beer can.

 

Thanks for the help, I will give it a try tonight. I probably will have to throw a few back though to make sure I have enough beer cans incase I mess up
