Default Vtec oil pan on a B20 bottom end?

I keep getting mixed opions on this and can't seem to find a solution for it. Some people say the oil pans are different and can't be swapped, some say they're all the same and doesn't matter. I've done a search of the forums and can't find the answer there either. Hoping someone here can answer it. I called the dealer and the part numbers are different and the replacement cost is different so I'm thinking it won't work. The reason I'm asking is because I want to put a Mugen oil pan on my B20 vtec.

Why do you want to put a "mugen" oil pan on your car?

Let me shine some light here. First off, PURPLETERROR asked a very good question.

When it comes to Hybird motors, the dealers seldom know what will work and what won't. With the stock B20, only the B20 oil pan will work. . . maybe an LS. If you install a girdle on the B20, then you can use a GSR oil pan and pickup/strainer. The GSR oil pan will fit but the pickup is too short for the B20 without a girdle.

Rudebwaisi is correct. You can technically bolt the vtec oil pan onto the b20, but you would need the gs-r girdle or oil pickup for it to work.
