d15b vtec tuning advices needed
i have a stock d15b on my crx, i have cold air intake system, chrome headers, performance chip. i'm planning to tune it to the max but without turbos or super charger.
any commenets?!
any commenets?!
dude where did u get that performance chip from...i didnt know gran turismo had a parts store...
theres not really much to tune with your set-up...the gains would be so minimal that i dont think its worth the money..but if u do tune it i would really like to see a before n after dyno graph

how much HP would i gain if i changed pistons and cam, sparkplugs wires doesn't give HP i dont know about torque, what about a voltage stablizer and a high pressure fuel regulator?! i wanted a turbo tune but they told me its doesn't work good with VTEC engines, what would be the soultion?
Whoever told you VTEC and turbocharging don't work good together probably doesn't know too much about Honda tuning. What are your goals for the motor powerwise? Do you plan on racing or just street driving, or both? What is your budget?
i wanna beat a civic type r in a drag thats my goal, budget is not a problem for me but i can use a custom made turbo if i can make my own, can u plz tell me everything i need?
Either turbocharging or nitrous can help you in beating a Type-R. If you turbocharge your engine, you will need a turbo manifold, turbocharger, blow-off valve, intercooler, larger fuel injectors, some some of engine management system, piping for charge pipes, fuel pump, oil lines (possibly water lines, depending on the turbo), and a wastegate, depending on if the turbocharger you get has an internal wastegate or not. After you get everything installed, you will need to get your car on a dyno and have it tuned. Everything lies in the tuning. You can have all the highest quality, most expensive parts, but without a good tune, it won't matter. Depending how much power you want to make, you will also need to look at engine internals, pistons, rods, head work, valvetrain upgrades, and even sleeving. Sounds like a lot, but if you are dedicated and determined, it will be well worth it.
