Default Best suspension for dd crx/hatch « » 3:20 PM 9/6/2005 Reply Edit

ok i have a turbo ls with skunk2's and tokico blues i have had them for about a year now, and i really dont like the way they ride, my car is not near as low as i would want it, i think its only about 1.5-2 low, im asking about the itr suspension is it good for these light cars? i know they are made for a heavier car, what is the best suspension setup for dd/street/ little strip time car
thanks

Call ground control and ask? They will help you in choosing a custom spring rate for your application. Or, you could just drop ~1500$ in some JDM bling such as zeals, spoon, mugen etc.

Wait, you said "for these light cars", but then you said you have an LS. If you do actually have an Integra, stock ITR would be good for what you want, as it handles VERY well and is cheap. However, it won't be as low as you want, if you want it lower than a 2" drop. However again, if you're lowering only for performance, you need to worry more about your spring/shock choices than ride height, as that'll have a much bigger effect, AND lowering too much will make your car handle worse than before.

If you're actually driving a Civic or something, ITR suspension will still be fantastic and all of the above will still apply.

<--- Planning on getting some ITR shocks/springs for the winter for my EG hatch.
