Default Engine swap ECU problems.

I have a 94 Del Sol that had a D16z6 but have recently swapped out a B16a. Car hits redline at 7500. I believe it should be 8200. I have been told it is an auto ECU. How much power do you think I am losing from this? I have just ordered a chipped ECU from phearable.net. I think this should fix my problems.

are you using a b16 ecu (you need to be)? it's impossible to say how much power you are losing, but you're definitely losing some.
