Just curious if anyone has has this problem on the 4 cylinder. when you first touch the throttle it stick so you have to push it a bit hard and it moves, gut only sticks at the top. I checked the cable it is good and it seems that it is sticking at the throttle body. I sprayed the outside down with WD-40 to see if maybe something was dirty but it still sticks. Just curious before I start taking it off if there is something I should look for.

 

I had the same problem before. Cleaned out the inside of throttle body and problem solved. Probably took me all of 10 minutes, including the removal and reinstallation of the intake.

 

Get some TB cleaner, and spray some directly into your throttle body. There will be directions on the can, of course.

 

Yes, throttle body cleaner, toothbrush and a little time.

You shouldn't need much cleaner to complete the job.

 

Almost forgot.

Don't use the little straw that comes with the TB cleaner. You definitely don't want it in your motor.
