Default Little question about GSR...

Myth or reality...

I'm putting a JDM GSR (B18C1) in my EG, I'm also putting Skunk2 stage 2 cams, now my question is, if I put SIR pistons, will the piston come in collision with the valves? Urban legends say that they will but I wanna ask the pros...thx

It would probably be better to post this in All Motor.

It doesnt matter as much as the piston as it does the rods. Ive heard of a bunch of people putting B16 pistons in there B18C for a poor mans type R and never had a problem.

yeah they will fit a B18C1, but with skunk2 stage2 cams...the lift and duration of the valves is completely different from the stock cams...that's my problem...
