I have a hatchy with a gsr setup in it . Basically stock compression with type r cams , intake, exhaust , headers . Im about to put on a skunk 2 im and i was woudnering if i should put a 68mm skunk 2 thorttle body or this 62mm type r throttle body i have laying around . Im not going all out so i was wounderin if that 68mm is over assesive ? what are your thoughts , i know from past exp. bigger aight always better .

 

ull have to get a throttle cable relocator and R cable for itr tb, id get the skunk throttlebody if u could, do u have stock springs and retainers? u should look into cam gears and ecu and tune the cams a bit

68mm is a tad overkill for your setup..

send your stock tb out to get it bored..

yeah i wouold send it out to maxbore and for $100 i think he will bore it out to 64 or 65 and that should be good for your setup!

 

i love the itr tb....
i've had a hand full of aftermarket ones...and i hate how alot of these has sticky plates...
eom itr tb has never given me any problems...
if u want bigger...send it out...but i'm breaking 200whp with itr tb
