d15b7 into a 89 si wiring help.
does any part of the engine harness have to be modified? right now whats not pluged in is the evap valve, iat sensor, and iacv. now i noticed all three of those have the exact same plug and there is only 2 of those plugs on the si harness. and there are a few more plugs on the harness that dont look like they will plug into anything on this motor. and last does the fast idle valve have a plug cause i cant feel one on it.
IAT is a red/something and a green/something wire. (christmas colors)
EACV is blue and yellow/black
Tandem wires don't exist on your Si harness.

cause its allready in there and i need to get it running. i got the evap and iat figured out. what color wires go to the iacv? and there is no plug for the ect switch. and what does tandem mean?
ok these are the three plugs i have left. the big round one to the left has 2 wires black and yellow/green. the middle round plug has one wire and its yellow/red. the small plug to the right has 2 wires that are blue and black/yellow. only the iacv and ect switch dont have plugs.

the 2 slip on pins in one boot is your fan switch
Your D15b fan switch is a round 2 pin plug on your thermostat housing. Extend it to a 2-pin round. I'll ship you an adapter for $20.
the 1 slip on pin is your oil pressure sensor and should exist there.

ok that fast idle sylonoid isnt in that spot on the b7 manifold its under the throttle body and has no plug. what is in that spot is a evap valve and i dont know what plug goes to that and thats the only thing not hooked up right now.

so you saying that small plug goes to the iacv?

sorry I need some sleep on my 89 crx mpfi it goes to the EACV, that valve in your pic by the plugs. mine had a pig tail plug on it I had to take it off the SI harness.
no it doesnt go there either that plug wont plug into any thing on this motor. im pretty sure 88dxcrx has it right so im gonna leave it un plugged. now the only thing i gotta do is saulder a plug for the fan switch but i need to know if it matters if the wires get crossed or not. any one know?
