So i finally found a junkyard round here that has what i needed for the MPFI swap and my god he is trying to *** ram me hard because from what i read its not that damn expensive, so what im askin u guys is how much did u drop on your MPFI swap for the ECU, dizzy, wiring harness, and intake manifold? Id greatly appreciate it.

thanks
if this is the case you may be better off looking for a 'for sale' thread here on H-T or lookin for someone nearby parting out their setup
yeah, don't let the junkman *** rape you, cause they love to do it. and hey, it never hurts to low ball em right back. bullshit your way into a deal. they quote high, shoot em back low. they will deal, especially if the stuffs been there for a while. and believe me, you gotta check junkyards within an 50 to 75 mile radius. i put a lot of miles going to different yards to just see what they've got.

Do it the easy way. Get a complete z6 or y8 intake, ECU from ht or ebay and a distributer from distributor king.
I got my intake, fuel rail, injectors from a y8 on ebay for $70, ecu was another 75 I think and the distributor was around $200.

Only the 88-89 obd0 ecus are useless...
Not worth the work to chip those suckers. Other than that... all the chippable obd0 ecus are very usefull
