i have a 94 accord and the other night i when i turned on my headlights my dash lights didnt come on and the running lights wont turn on but the head lights work.

 

Check the tail lamp fuse
In most cases the dash lamps take power from the tail lamp / parking lamp circuit from a point after the tail lamp fuse.

Why (you ask)??? "Cuz by doing that it warns you that there's something amiss with the lighting system; and it forces you to check

In other words, it requires two(2) good fuses for the dash lamps to work
