The car is in real nice shape. There are a few small dents/dings/scratches, but nothing unusual for a 6 year old car.
The engine was swapped by a previous owner at a shop down in FL. It is a SUPER nice job. All wiring is soldered and wrapped nice. It looks stock. It also has stainless braided clutch lines and fuel line. Of course, with any DOHC VTEC engine, it burns a little oil but thats expected. The transmission shifts extremely well. No grinds. Clutch still grabs nice. It could use a professional tune on the ECU. I can tell its running a little rich but I dont' have the time nor know-how to tune it. It still runs fine, but its not at its full potential yet.
Odometer note: The gauge cluster was switched to a Civic Si model one. The tach shows 16k miles. Exact miles are unknown. I was told 55k when I bought it. I have since put around 8k on it. I would guesstimate the mileage to be around 65k with the condition of the body and other small signs (clutch pedal).
The car handles extrmely well considering the MYTH that h22 civics suck to drive. With front and rear sway bars, this thing would handle awesome. I just never got around to buying those. If you are interested and in doubt, we'll go for a ride. No P/S takes a week or so to get used to but I don't even notice it anymore. And I'm 5'6" 125lbs so you bigger guys won't have a problem at all.
Price: $9,000 Now asking $8,000
I am always willing to entertain reasonable offers

The alternator and radiator hose clip looks like it's got some rust. How is other areas on the car? Is there a lot of rust starting to develop? Has it been through a lot of snow days with salt on the streets?
It was originally a Florida car. It has been through ONE Ohio winter. The rust was on those parts when bought the car (one month after arriving from FL).
The car is perfect as far as rust is concerned. The undercarriage looks acceptable, exhuast looks good. You're always gonna get little surface rust on unprotected metal, but nothing is corroded or anything bad.
