I have my code but my Pilot radio won't ask for it.
I have a 2003 Pilot. I ran down the battery using a cigarette lighter tire compressor. I didn't even run it down to the point that the car wouldn't start, but now my radio is dead. The anti-theft light flashes, but the display is blank. I have disconnected the battery, but I still do not get a prompt for the Code. I know the code, it just won't ask for it. Can any help with this one?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Nothing happens when I push any button---volume (power), AM, FM, CD or TAPE. I forgot to mention that it is an EX model, but no DVD or Navigation system. Is there a fuse or fusible link in the radio itself?

If nothing is coming on on the HU it has to be the acc. fuse, or there is something wrong with the HU, as the red flashing light is powered by the constant power, I don't know of any oem HU that have a fuse or fusible link on the unit itself, but you may have to pull the HU to find out if the other fuses are good, BTW just because the fuse "looks" good does not mean it is, to be sure, replace it with a new one.
If you have to remove it try here for help.. http://www.installdr.com/

Thank you for the info. I will check the switched power fuse. I already checked the constant power fuse and, as you said, it must be OK since the red light is flashing.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
I found the second fuse. It was the same circuit (surprise, surprise) as the front accessory socket (a.k.a. cigarette lighter) that I was using with the tire compressor when I caused the problem. New fuse, entered code and I have music. Thank you romoracing for pointing me in the right direction.
Lol, I just helped you alittle! Fcm beat me to it. He the ones that desevers the credit! But im glad you have music!
