this was just a baseline run since ive built the motor about 1.5-2months ago. I still have yet to tune the ignition timing and the cam timing.
84.5mm b20vtec
endyn roller wave wiseco pistons (12:1)
eagle h-beams
ls crank
acl race bearings
fully balanced
gsr p72 head.
3angle valve job with a back cut on the valves
crower stainless valves
crower springs
crower titanium retainers
crower 63403 cams
ferea locks
skunk2 intake mani
ctr N1 pully
maxbore throttle body
hondata intake gasket
arp headstuds
rmf race header with merge collector and megaphone
3" custom exhaust sounds good, not ricy
unfortunately the header broke right after the merge during the session.

the car is also for sale so check out my sig below.

its a stock sleeve b20. i ran a 8.0 at the local 1/8 mi track with my last 1.8l motor that put down 196whp. hopefully i can get a little closer to 11's in the quarter.

i asked the same question and he said that they shoulf read close to the same. but i dont know.

it's a load based dyno, and the figures vary wildly depending on the settings used by the operator... you can't really compare dyno dynamics to other dynos.
i've been told that you guys normally use the "spinning known mass" style dynos, is that correct?

now i need to get on the dyno for a tune session. see what kinda numbers i can extract. Too bad i dont have a edelbrock intake mani, and maybe a larger throttle body.
with the Dyno Dynamics dyno you can input a "correction" factor so you can compare 2 different style dynos. Generally the Dynamics dyno will read 17% lower then a Dyno jet, but the Dynamics is the absolute uncorrected HP. Most placed that use the Dynamics dyno use that 17% correction factor so you can compare.
the one way to know for sure is look at your print out if they gave it to you with all the atmospheric numbers and look for the "X" factor on the top of the page.. Will read something like X=1.17.
an example from a friends run a few weeks ago, he dynoed 182whp on a Dynojet, then went to Zensport with an uncorrected dyno, he showed 154whp. After we reapplied the corrected he hit 179whp.

so is it safe to assume that my numbers are pretty close then???my sheet doesnt say anything about a correction factor. i have a funny feeling that it will make more power with less igntiion timing. i have to tune but dont have the money right now. I also have a gm smog pump that i wanted to hook up to my crankase to see what happens. I dont like how the power peeks and stays where it is. dosent go up or down. kinda like something is holding it from makeing more power.

Are you going to say that the header was 4 years old.And it was made out of .049.And it was a race only header. And there was no bracket on it either. It was not meant to have a 3" exhaust hooked to it. I just didn't want anyone to get the wrong info.

i was never informed of its age or its quality or even that it wasnt meant for a exhaust when i bought it. i bought it used off of another member. I was informed of its age after i pm'd you asking questions about how to make not crack on me again which you never answered my question. If i wanted to tell the world about how my rmf header broke i woulda started a huge thread about my rmf header breaking, however i am very pleased with its performance and I am aware now that it wasn't designed for how im using it. I jjust wanted to know how to make it better/stronger which is why i pm'd you.
