It's not hard on the tranny if you setup the full throttle shift properly. You will definitely need a clutch that can handle forces of that nature such as a single disk unsprung 4 or 6 puck. You will also need some sort of ignition interrupt so RPM's don't go sky high when the clutch goes in.

power shifting is someone of a learned skill , you will **** up a tranny or two before u get good at it....

i do it all the time....but if you arent fast enough your tranny will not like you ....

Worked great for me in my NA cars and not so well in my FI cars.(clutch slippage)

just get a g-force gearset and all you have to do is pull the lever. no clutch, no lifting

Don't full throttle shift but don't lift all the way either. You can let off slightly, match the revs fairly close while shifting quick using less clutch. Saves the tranny and gets good times if you practice.

Here is something to go by. Your in first gear. Now start pulling on the shifter towards 2nd gear pretty hard Don't worry it shouldn't pop out of gear. Well h series is a little different. But as for B series keep pulling on the shifter and tap the clutch and it should pop right into 2nd for ya, as for third you start pushing the shifter toward 3rd and again tap the clutch, and back to pulling for 4th gear. This is the most effective way and by doing shift quick. As for not power shifting, its not much of a difference if your turbo is under a 60-1. But 60-1 and bigger That 1-2 shift will kill your front 1/8th mile time. I run a pte71 gtq and if i let off the pedal, it will bog and have to spool up again which i accidently did before and it costed me more than 1 second off my time.

Try this guys and tell me how it did for ya. Don't worry about miss shifting from 2nd back to 1. If you push the gear toward an angle toward the 3rd, you will not have a problem.

I full throttle shift all the time and I launch off the rev limiter when I am at the track on slicks. I have been boosted for about 20 months and my ACT xtss still grips like it is brand new.
