Default GSR swap

ok im doing a 92 GSR swap into my 88 HF. i bought a wrecked 92 GSR teg for 550 from one of my friends (hes not real smart when it come to hondas) and i have all the stock stuff off the teg.. im ordering the engine mounts and OBD0-OBD1 harness jumper today, but the site im getting the harness from says i have to add the 4 wire O2 sensor.. is that hard to do? i also have to shorten the shift linkage which is no problem. but how much? and will the GSR axles fit my HF hubs or will i have to use the GSR hubs? will they fit my HF? what more is there to do? i'v done swaps but never a bigger Vtec swap. If anyone can give me some advice or info i'd GREATLY appericate it

This is all IIRC... so bare with me

if you have an OBD1 car, it'll have a 4-wire O2 Sensor.

Search, there's plenty of articles for how to do this. it's easy, just gotta know which wires to send where.
I'd recommend making a harness so you can clip/unclip the o2 sensor easily.

Depends. I shortened mine a lot so the shifter is back further. here's what I did, cut the linkage and removed roughly 1"... stuck a pipe in the center (they are hollow) then installed in the car... and determined if it worked. If it didn't, cut more off. The pipe in the center of the linkage keeps it from drooping.

believe the HF hubs are too small. The GSR hubs will work, but ideal is Si

make sure you get the right distributor wiring harness right (unless you repin it).
then there's the standard B-series swap things you need to do (hammer frame rail, new mounts, etc).

but, ultimately, do a search for the swap. it's your best friend.

have fun and good luck

alright I am pretty sure you need new hubs, I would use some from a crx si ( I actually got a set if you want em), or you could use DA integra ones, the brakes are bigger, I am also pretty sure that a 92 gs-r is obd 0, not very sure on that so someone else correct me if I am wrong, if you do convert to obd 1 you need to hook up a 4 wire o2 it is cake and all the wires will be there in the conversion harnessyou get. I think you have to use 90-93 integra axles should work but once again I am not sure on this so you should get 2nd opinoins

What will need to be done....

B-series mount kit (unless you fab your own)
B-series shift linkage (unless you fab your own, which you can with the integras)

You will need to make the following to go into the passenger compartment (extensions ) for vtec solenoid, vtec pressure switch, 4-wire o2 sensor. you just run it into the passenger compartment and it will go to the jumper harness.

You can use the Integra Axles but if they are ABS I don't know if they will work.
Use the Integra Knuckles cause your HF have the wrong spline count.

Also your downpipe or exhaust will need to be cut to fit.

Brain dead.

hmotorsonline.com has the non-hf hubs for 50$, but with shipping costs your better off going to a junkyard.

http://www.rywire.com for anything wire related

You need a big ol' honkin sledge hammer to "make room" for your alternator pulley.
