P28 ECU Chip
Hi all,
I have a B16a2 Block with a GSR Head and running a P28 ecu. What kind of chip would be best that would run good with my setup? I have tried a GSR ECU and it was getting to much fuel or something making it bog and rev out at like 6000rpms. Someone told me that it was my intake manifold that was causing the problem but yeah. But if anyone can help me out on telling me what kind of chip would be best for the setup I have that would be great...Thanks

Use the ECU from your intake manifold. The GSR has secondary intake runners like an H22 and needs a P72 to run them, or a P28/P06 with the secondaries added in (some resistors and jumper wires that make a $60 ECU a $180 ECU. As far as which chip, you would want to get one tuned since you have a custom setup, just tune with crome, uberdata, hondata or the like for a P72 GSR, but set your displacment for the 1.6l, and injector size etc.
The reason it was running so rich was because it thinks you have 1.8L at a certain pressure, not 1.6L, so it thinks there is more air and is sending more fuel.
It'll work out soon enough though
Good luck!
