Default A thread on turbobricks.com about making a mani from scratch.

This was truely a homegrown project mani made from steel. I dont know the guy, but its his first attempt at something like this.

He also was able to hack into his auto tranmission and make a SMG style paddle shifters for it too, guys got skills!

Looks pretty sweet. Hopefully I'll have a thread in here sometime this winter about making a manifold after I complete the TIG course I'm taking this fall.

Last time I bought a set of custom laser cut flanges, they didn't turn out near as well as that. they had big vertical lines and looked about like torch cut (automated, of course) flanges.

Shoot me an email with your info and if I wind up needing more, I'll give you a shout.

What did you charge the guy for the head flange?

Oh, those are the days of old now. My source for free laser cutting moved into the medical field, and his flange was part of the last order I had done.



Those are some good examples of the laser cutting I had done. That 6cyl flange while beefy, was drawn up in autocad by the guy who made the header.
