my chance at another CRX!! should i do it?
ok, hes a short breakdown. i had a CRX i bought, guy bondoed the **** outta it and sold it to me for a pretty penny. paint started to crack so i traded it for a civic with a kit and planned on puttin a b16 in it. bought a jdm b16 with LSD and swapped that in and wrecked the car 3000 km later
now i have a chance to trade the complete 2nd gen b16 swap with tranny for a CRX, but the guy wants cash. here is a link to the CRX hes interested in trading for my motor.

i just dont know how much cash he would be looking for.
keep in mind im in canada, basically looking for your opinion, do think its worth the trade or should i just keep looking for a cheap assed 5th gen and slap my motor back in there?

continue looking for a cheap *** 5th gen. because with the CRX you'll need shiftlinakge and mounts. along with ob0-obd1 conversion harness. i'm assuming obd1 ecu/distributor/4wire o2 since you have a b16 w/lsd and you had it in a 92-95 hatch. so keep looking for a 92+honda.
nevermind your thinking of trading swap + cash for the crx. how much cash??

i wish, but here in Nova Scotia, Canada its hard o find 1 tahts not a driving pile of rust or an automatic... i dont wanna deal with an auto to manual swap...

i say go for it! but keep the LSD tranny and find a different tranny to trade. LSD cable tranny's are hard to come by!

yeah id say tehy are hard to come by, gut i have a hydro LSD tranny, its a 2nd gen b16.... but yeah its not worth it to me cause the guy wants way too much for the CRX, 3500 + my full b16 swap with tranyn and ecu and **** isnt worth it to me..

hey crxified, i've seen you posting on lowmo and i've seen this crx advertised on lowmo.
$5500 for his rex is too much money, he's trying to make up money probably for the engine rebuild he paid someone to do, which rebuilding a the d was a waste.
you can find a better deal then that in nb/ns.
and $3000 plus your engine swap isn't worth it either.

yeah i thought it was a waste too rebuilding a d-series but what can ya do. its a nice CRX and i want another but i dont think 5500 is worth it for that rex, and the only reason he wanted $3000 on top of my swap is cause it wasnt cable tranny and it didnt have b series mounts. i told him i could trade my hydro b16 tranny for a cable and buy the mounts for him, but i would only give him $1000 on top of tha swap. he never wrote back so i guess hes not interested lol
