I searched but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. Every since I put my motor mount inserts in, when I launch at the track the car will pop out of first gear. I never had a problem with this before, just after I put the inserts in. Car is a 96 EX D16Y8 with a Greddy turbo kit. I was launching at like 3500-4000rpm when this was happening. It popped out so hard I thought I broke something. I got the Energy Suspension lower side and rear mounts and Prothane uper mounts. Any help is greatly appreciated.
i have heard of this before, although never happened to me, it has happened to some buddys of mine... i couldnt even think of a reason for it... however, my advice to them was hold the shifter into gear hard when launching, and it never happened to them again

Hmm, I haven't heard that one before. I just put a new clutch on it about 3 months ago and was sure to fill up the tranny fluid. I even went back and topped it off the day after I installed the clutch just to be sure it was full. I will check it again though. Thanks for the info.
check to make sure it is not leaking. Mine use to pop out all the time. I always knew it was time to fill up again when that happened. Also just happened to my friend on his turbo rsx. He was like no way is it that. He drained the tranny oil and only had about half a quart in it.
make sure you guys didn't bend, the selector rod while pounding in the bitch pin
if the rod is bendt, it will affect some gears either on the upper or lower part of the H pattern. good luck!

I've run the car at the track since I put the clutch in and it was fine. I just started having problems since the inserts went in.
my car used to do this because a syncro was a little ruff so i put in syncromesh tranny fluid and it never popped out a gear since just a thought
