I'm looking to get an Si but not really sure about how much people are getting them for these days, especially with the new one coming out semi-soon. I was hoping you guys with Si's could tell me how much you got yours for. thanks.

 

I'm hearing mixed reports of how the last of the 2005 model year are selling.

In December 2002, I got my 2002 model for $15995. I still hear about some dealers dumpting their 2005 models for that price, but I also have heard sporadic reports about the last ones selling for quite a bit more.

In some neighbourhoods, apparently, it's the same old story: You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone, and the hatch is suddenly in more demand than it was when it was in full production.

I like just about everything I'm hearing about the new 2006 Civic Si. Every once in a while, though, I remember how little I paid for the 2002 Si, and realise that I could build a car that'd kill the 2006 Si for less money overall than what the 2006 Si is likely to cost me...especially factoring in the dealer markups that are common with the first year of popular Honda models.

 

i know in early 05, a local honda dealer let an 04 new go for 16,5... the closer we get to 06, and the closer we get to the new model coming out, the cheaper it will be, however, it may also not be available

 

I used to work for a Honda dealership, AND! I'm in washington state so everything is expensive. I got mine for 19,2. but with dealer markup on the 05's it was supposed to be 27,5. So go figure...

 

I just bought mine in Southern Oregon on Saturday. 2005 w/ 26 Miles for $18,600..Retail they were asking was around $22k.

 

Those prices are crazy, might as well go for a road trip w/ a buddy and save mucho $$$. 16,500 is easily had in the northeast, so i assume its the same everywhere you just have to look. 18k+ is just to high a price IMO.

 

although these cars are rare, there is really not a high demand for them... i bought mine, 04 6k miles, 6 months old for 14.5
