del sol when i got it. dont let this pic fool you, the paint is nasty, and like 8 shades of red through pink.


the little engine that could. (106k, d15b7)


the b16 i got for $1000. muahah.


the engine code.


the surprise. (head was cleanly rebuilt!)


dirty pistons.


dirty head.


dirty pistons again.


cleaned up the pistons.


start of the cleaning of the block.


more of the block being cleaned


freshly painted block.


engine code.


intake manifold freshly cleaned.


my parts.


del sol, motor pulled.


stripped bay, removed fenders.


primered bay.


painted bay.


painted tire wells.


carpet pulled.


new carpet put in. (PAIN IN THE ***)


wiring harness being redone.


harness finished.


car being prepped for paint.


car being prepped for paint.


fixed a bit of rust.


new seats.


new seats.


mmm. omnipower.


last rs*r for the del sol in the country.


bling.


picked up from paint.


home from paint.


motor assembled.


before dropping, with a dirty and tired me.


motor in.


almost as she is now.


im just waiting on my rims and hood. both should be here by wednesday, then she's on the road.

Wow, good turn around of the car. Props to that, looks like it was a lot of fun.
But why not paint the engine bay?

they taped it. i made them remove the lip and paint the whole bumper.
the didnt paint the lip after that... but i think i like it better black.. it sorta "makes" the front end.

grill is white.

contrary to the majority of honda tech's preference, i like it better white.
