my rear end suspension is extremely stiff....
Hi, I own an 89 civic. With agx's and some skunk 2 lowering springs. My rear is so stiff its, its like the shocks are not even there. When I go over some bump or something is really ****** annoying. It makes like a knocking noise. Are my shocks blown? or whats causing this? I have tried every setting of the shocks and its still ****** stiff..any advice?

Skunk2 makes actual lowering springs? or did you get a slip on coil over? I am guessing you have the slip on coils and the sleeves are floping around on the shock, thats what all those rubber doughnuts are for.

2) The AGXs probably couldn't handle the rate

AGXs are pure garbage. I had them in my car for less than 30K with Eibach Pro-Kits, and all 4 were blown - badly. One of them, I couldn't even pull the shaft out with it in a vice. I had the same symptoms as you.
