Default Suspension suggestions?

I've looked around on several forums and all over the place on vendor sites, but everything I see and everything I read just flies right over my head. I'm a dummy when it comes to suspensions, so I'd really like it if anyone would help me out with some pointers.

I have a 91 LX accord coupe.
I was very dissatisfied with it's lack of handling. I put 17" motegi RT5's on her with "all season" tires, and I loved the results for the most part, except, the car now sits "up" slightly, and looks like a boat. And when I hit corners quickly, she leans like a volkswagon.

I want to add just a touch to the suspension. Something nice, but not extreme, just slightly stiffer than OEM, lowering it about an inch.

Any suggestions from someone who knows what they're talking about? thanks

I was going to suggest wider tires and rims, and you've already taken care of that.
What size tires did you use?

For the "Queen Mary" heel-over on turns are controled by Anti-sway bars and shocks (struts). Thats what I'd suggest next.

Then lowering no more than 2" with an alignment

My buddy was really satisfied with the Eibach Prokit.... they lowered his car a good amount, handled like a dream and still had a decent ride quality. check those out.... you could also find a decent pair of tein's on Ebay for pretty cheap.
