Default Can someone clear up Manifold/TB port matching?

I already searched and keep getting different answers. I thought the TB needs to be bored to the same size as the manifold inlet. But some people are saying it needs to be 1-2 mm less. So if im going with an aebs which is 65...should i get the TB bored to 63-64 or 65?

the idea is to reduce bottle kneck. you just want to be able to not have a obviously noticeable area that air cant smoothly pass over, such as having a 65mm back side of the throttle body and a 60mm inlet to the manifold.

So as long as the manifold is bigger than the tb youre ok?

This will create a small amount of turbulance and slow the air down a tiny bit before they enter the runners, but its not as bad as the other way around.

so best bet would be to have the same size as the inlet right?

Yep, with a slight taper from the opening of the throttle body to the butterfly valve.
