Default B16 Axle question

i am in the middle of swaping a b16a into my civic hatch. i through on the SIR half shaft and axles. pass. side fits good. a little bit of play and drivers seems to tight. ive searched know about the motor mount issue but am getting so many diff answers.
Some say the SIR axles and half shafts will fit fine.

some say use the 90-93 teg axles & half shafts

Some say that the SIR axles will mate with the 90-93 half shaft.

What can i do to make the driver side axle fit better. it fits and i can still move it by hand but there is no slack in axle at all.is this ok. will it cause more or less tension when the conrol arms mover toward wheel well? thnks

If you have an SIR intermediate shaft then you'll need to use a custom SiR type axle on the drivers side. You can make one using a 90-93 axle with 88-89 integra inner cv joint ...or was it 88-89 axle with 90-93 inner joint? one of the two =]. SEARCH! OR just make life easy and install integra intermediate shaft and 90-93 axles.

ok, i have heard of the integra intermediate being shorter. i have also heard that the integra intermediate will mate with the SIR axle. true or false? The more i search the more confused i get. There are a lot of answers out there, im looking for something to work and not have to spend a lot of money considering it is just to get the swap on the road. might get a set down the road maybe hasport but funds arent to low but low enough. thnks

do yourself a favor and buy a 90-93 integra intermediate shaft and buy 90-93 axles this way when one axle breaks you dont need a special one you can get it anywhere and wont be stuck
