Is it possible to put a manual tranny ecu on an automatic car? I have a dinan chipped manual tranny ecu and want to put it into my friends prelude with the exact same engine but a different transmission. Or could I just take the chip out and put it into the automatic ecu?

 

in preludes, that is a little tricky. aka ecu has to match the car. i dont see why you couldnt take the chip out but i think the chip would be designed for the ECU it is installed into.
