car wont start, then it will?
I have a 90 civic hatchback with a 1.5 litre in it dual poin fuel injected. recently i have been driving it and it will drive fine, ill get somewhere leave it for a few min. and come out and it wont start it will turn over just wont start. when that happened i poped started it and took it home. the next day started right up. the check engine light comes on every once in a while and its code 16 which has to do with the fuel system. the throttle body was changed last year with another used one. other then that the car drives fine. any ideas on what could be wrong?

b20pimp had it. PGMFI main relay. when you turn the key watch for the check engine light, listen for a clunk and then a hum that last till the CEL goes out. if the checkball the keeps pressure from running back to the tank isnt doing its job you will have to prime the system by doing this several times which is a pain.

get a multi meter, go and rip the back seat out, take apart the 3 prong connector. Put the multi meter onto the yellow/black wire, or just plain yellow wire, turn car on, see if its putting any volts out. Do this after the car is warmed up. If no volts come out of yellow wire, then its your main relay. If there is volts coming off yellow wire, its your fuel pump.
