Default B18A1 CRX HF brake caliper steering knuckle hub mix and match

B18A1 CRX HF brake caliper steering knuckle hub mix and match

Having a little problem getting my brake parts in order.
What I'm doing is putting a B18a1 into my 91 honda crx HF

So far, I've got the engine in. To accomodate the new axles, I needed new steering knuckles, so I picked up these:

http://tinyurl.com/dl3yk
http://tinyurl.com/95cfh

I'm told from the description that they are from a 93 acura integra LS

Apparently they will work with a 90-93 acura...

They fit nicely on the CRX HF...

I got a new set of rotors to match the steering knuckles...

The CRX HF BRAKE CALIPERS WILL...I repeat 'WILL' bolt on to the steering knuckles, however the space between the brake shoes are too narrow to fit over the rotor.

I thought, no problem, I will just get the Brake Calipers for the acura integra.

This is where I get confused.

Apparently 90-93 acura integra steering knuckles are the same part.

Apparently 90-93 acura integra rotors are the same part.

However, when I looked into the brake caliper for the integra, I come up with different answers:

car-part.com shows only 92-93 acura brake calipers to be interchangeable with each other AND that 90 and 91 are different calipers.

Junk yard interchange computers show the same thing.

Autopart stores I called shows the 91 and 93 integra brake calipers to be the same thing. I picked up a set, of what they had, and they DIDNOT bolt up to the steering knuckles, the bolts were a couple inches WIDER apart.

As I said, the CRX HF calipers will fit the Steering Knuckle...but the CRX HF rotor doesn't fit.

I'm kinda lost and confused at this point. I'm thinking either the autopart store gave me the wrong part(gonna verify by getting another set from another store tomorrow, when they come in) or the steering knuckles I got ARE NOT 93 acura integra.

Anyone have any advice to steer me in the right direction? It's hard to compare the parts when everything has to be ordered.

Thanks, and please let me know if you need any more information.

I've been continuing my research with the help of delray acura.

http://www.acuraoemparts.com

90-93 acura integra ls/rs steering knuckles all have same part number
51210-sk7-040 and 51215-sk7-040 for left and right sides.

90-93 acura integra gs have a different steering knuckle
51210-SK7-904 and 51215-SK7-305

looks like rotors are all the same for 90-93 integras
45251-SK7-J00

Calipers is where I'm at...and having problems with, can't even get a straight answer from the acura site. The only calipers they have listed are the 91 ls and 91 rs calipers, both the same part numbers.
45210-sk7-003 and 45230-sk7-003 for left and right parts.

I go to the 93 GS listing...and they SKIP the part number for the caliper?!? WTF?!?!
http://tinyurl.com/9fqy7

OKAY...so I guess the first thing I have to do is to identify exactly what steering knuckles I just put on my car. As I mentioned...the auction says 93 INTEGRA LS. But how would I go about knowing for sure? The only thing I really know so far is that they fit on my car (91CRX-HF) And they have the caliper bolt holes spaced exactly the same as the 91CRX knuckle. CRX rotors won't fit on the Hub. Integra rotors fit perfectly. Is there any easier way to identify my knuckles?

Thanks again,
TK
