You should get yourself some stiff *** springs if it's mostly a drag car. Just do a little searching for like "drag suspension" or something like that. I think a lot of people run like 900 or 1000 pound springs in the rear and like 400-500 pound springs in the front. Or you can get yourself a wheelie bar and you won't have to get springs as stiff.

my friend has a hatch that just recently went 10.57 @ 138 pushing over 600 whp and he used to run stock suspension which of course all blew out to the point where the fluid was leaking all over the struts. Now he has omnipower drag coilovers and man they made so much difference in his car and he just can't stop talking about them you could look into those. they weren't that expensive either.

600whp going 10.57 @ 138mph on stock springs/struts? Are you kidding? That has got to be the hardest car in the world to drive... and very scary. I guess your only going in a straight line, but still...

no he went 10.74 on the blown stock suspension, but when he put in the omnipowers he started going lower. 10.57 is his best so far with new times awaiting

tell your friend to do a search on those omnipower drag coilovers. there have been a few people who broke the sleeves on them and i think on one persons car it caused them to crash.

Offroad spec.

They make these for the 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra.

I would prob. stay with a company that being on the pavement for a while.

being an off road company, their shocks most likely get alot more abuse than our honda shocks ever will.

oh yeah, he was telling us that after one of the rounds at clash of the titans. he was telling us that his struts were all leaking fluid and stuff, lol. Aaron told him that the same things happened to him, but man Johnny sure can drive that thing down the track, imagine when he gets new suspension.

hahaha..... I will never own Omni Power coilovers just because I have heard ALOT of bad things about them latley..... like the drag car that crashed and other people have been having problems due to the very thin wall thickness around the collar area's

what i've heard omni has fixed that problem. they came out with new coller's. I would also recomend the D2 suspension it has more adjustments than most coilover systems on the market. if you want to get sick with it get LAMB

yeah, I heard the same thing about the omni powers. like I said, my friend has them on his 10 sec. hatchback and he is very happy with them.

I also heard about a ride height adjustment problem that the omni powers were said to have for the rear, but have fixed that problem since then as well.

skunk2 drag launch coil overs have been around for a long time, and have gone quite fast. ground control will also make custom springs for a decent price.

Do most you run your coilover setups at full stiff in the rear and full soft up front?
