engine dampers work?

Default engine dampers work?

pretty much what the title says...does anyone know or have experience with engine dampers? do they really work and make a difference? i have a ej8 w/d16y8 and was curious about these

Now they dont give you horsepower..These ease the torque garing of the engine and tranny..MOre for high hp cars. Eases tension on the mounts to.

yeah i know they dont give hp, i was just wondering abotu the claims that they *lessen engine vibration for smoother accelleration* or what not...so for cars around 250-300 whp, are they not worth it?

no they aren't worth it, i have one and before i put it on i decided to take it apart, all it is is two stiff rubber bushings on each side of a washer inside a cylinder. i could tel no difference with it on
