Ok heres what happened i put my dizzy on my friends car off my car to see if it would start it didnt so then we put it back on my car and it wont start what can it be

same thing happen to me a little while back ago, it was my ignitor (ICM, ignition control module). i suggest you go to a junk yard or call some local tuning shops to see if you could buy a dizzy off of them

 

either that or you put it on 180 degrees off.

 

Are you getting spark? If you are then like stated above you prob put the Dist on 180 Degrees out.

Rotate the motor till #1 piston is at top dead center and your timing marks line up. then install the Distributor with the rotor pionting to #1 spark plug wire.

the dizzy will only go on one way, you prolly got your plug wires on wrong

 

Fins are 180 fix that and your set.
