Does anyone know of a step by step "how to" guide on swapping a z6 intake manifold onto my y7? thanks

 

will a vtec manifold fit on a non vtec head? im wondering the same thing.

 

it WILL fit. its a matter of unbolt old one and bolt back up the new one. i just dont have a howto typed up or know where i can find one to post for ya. but IT WILL WORK as long as its D series to D series motor

 

i know that a vtec manifold wont fit on a non vtec head for B series...


so the D series WILL work.... even if its vtec to non vtec?

 

yes, a vtec manifold WILL fit on a non-vtec head. I've done it to my y7. The only problem you will run into if you use a y8 mani (dont know about z6) is that you will either have to buy a y8 throttle body or do some modification to the y7. hth
