Default My "Acura" badge replacement

I've been meaning to strip the acura wording from my decklid for a while, and i finally got bored enough to do it. however i can't stand to be without the ITR long enough to have the holes filled in (until this summer when i'll be working at a body shop and get paid to work on my own car), so i came up with a interesting alternative, especially with my status with the police:

no, i didnt steal it off a cop car, they're available at your local ford parts department for about 8.99, special ordered.

i think its a felony to represent yourself as a cop when your not
thats an interesting point, but then why would the ford place offer these for sale? i'm obviously not a cop....I had one on my exploder before I had the R and didnt have a problem.

Why do you have an OBX badge, did someone rip your $50 OEM one?

i dont care if ford sells them. pawn shops sell guns, does that mean you're supposed to use them freely?

have fun when you get pulled over for speeding and the cop asks you what that "performance sticker" is

It's not illegal to have them. It's just a Ford badge that denotes the police package on a car that they sell. The police package is simply better shocks, tires, suspension, etc. Not the sirens and whatnot that people think.

EDIT: You sometimes see old people driving Crown Vics with that badge on it. The thing you can't have are the huge reflective POLICE letters. Hehe

It's kinda like Type R for Acuras.
