Default what do i need to do lsvtec in my 91 civic si

First should i buy a 91 teg ls motor or should i buy one from a 94-97 teg. i will be using my jdm obdo b16 head on the ls motor, what do i need to do to the ls block. I was told that all i need to do just get some type r piston and aacl race bearings and also get the adapter that goes on before the oil filter. then run that line up to the head is that all i would need to do and how much hp would i get of that swap

what obd system do u plan on running?
yeah an oil line has to be run from the block to the head to make it work...also the size of the dowel pins do not match up..i believe they make a kit for this...or else u will have to take it to the machine shop to match em...
u can still run stock internals u dont really need the R pistons or bearings...it really depends on how high u wanna rev...that will also determine whether or not u should change the rod bolts or not...
the power u will gain is decent but the torque numbers are more impressive...
why not go CRVTEC...same amount of work..more power and torque

first off this topic has been covered a bajillion times..so the search function is gonna be ur best buddy during ur build...
but heres the gist of it:
b18/20 block X b16/gsr head
you need to run an oil line from the block to the head..
u need to match the dowel pin sizes..
you need a vtec ecu as well as vtec dizzy...
since ur are already mpfi there is no need to convert...
u would also need a new mount kit for the motor..
as well as modified linkage...
might as well replace ur shifter bushings with polyurethane while the shifter is out..
im gettin a little drunky so i might have left **** out ..i dont think i did though..good luck
