ignitor and coil question
Both my ignitor and coil are bad in my 94gsr and need replacement. The oem parts are $95 for the coil, and $222 for the ignitor. Is it worth it, or should I go for the less expensive parts at the local auto store?
the coil and the ignitor are almost the same price. $90-$100 .
who gave u a price quote of $222 for the ignitor?
the $222 price might be for both. call acura dealership again.
i got mine for $200 for both ... don't get non-oem parts cause u'll end up replacing them again soon

i had the same problem once...rather then getting a stock coil...i got a msd external coil and modifed cap...actually cheaper then stock(paind 80bucks)...but the ignitor i went to a local parts store and it was a hundred bucks...220 is hella high for just the ignitor
Just had to replace both on my 95 B18B. Ignitor was $151.00 and coil was $66.00 from http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net

What were the symptoms when your ignitor and coil went bad. I have a 92 integra and the tach started jumping around and now the car justs stops all of a sudden. Sometimes I can start it again, but will shut down again later. Did you have this problem?
dude, u guys are crazy for paying 150 bucks or more for an ignitor???? wow, mine went out in my 94 rs, and it cost me 67 bucks from my local parts store, but i guess, if u wanna pay more, go for it!!!!! haha
