OBD2A Integra -> OBD2B Harness -> OBD2A ECU = Crank Position Sensor CEL
Integra.
98 LS (OBD2A), 01 Block (OBD2B), 01 Harness (OBD2B), 99 P72 ECU (OBD2A)
Now we have found the plug on the wiring harness that should go to the Crank Position Sensor on the vehicle itself. The question is.. on an OBD2A block, where is the harness for the CPS located? I know it was part of the distributor harness on OBD1 Integras, but I'm certain for OBD2.
The car runs perfectly, by the way.. so is it possible that we could simply send the 350-700 Ohms of resistance between sensor terminal and ECM terminal to make the CEL go away? It has to for it to pass inspection.. doing the OBD2->OBD1 conversion is NOT an option.
Help?

on obd2 vechiles crank position sensors r located at the crank pulley area
u will see a wire coming out of the timing cover near the damper pulley
the engine harness side wire shoud be near
if its chop off u can find it with a dvom

we know where the sensor is, as well as the plug for it, the question is where does it go into the harness?
we've been told there's a wire in the d-cap area that it needs to connect to. or is it two wires?
anybody?

no you can't plug n' play a Si wire harness into a 96-98 civic, you can only use a 96-98 civic 5spd EX harness. The underdash harness isn't compatible with a Si harnesss, hence the reason why it won't work. You'll need to run an OBD2a->OBD2b jumper harness if you want to run the Si ecu in your 98 civic. I sell this jumper if you're interested
