Oxygen Sensor placement choices.....???
Heres the deal:
B16 obd0
ITR header (1 sensor bung in the collector)
Omni test pipe (another bung in the pipe)
I have 1 o2 sensor in the 4-1 collector with both o2 wires spliced together. It runs fine like this but smokes at times (no its not oil smoke). Since the sensor is in totally the wrong spot anyway would you guys bother to buy another sensor and place in the test pipe and run o2 wires to each o2 sensors? This would totally place the sensors too far back I think to get heated up in in a reasonable amount of time. Or would you all just say screw obd0 and go obd1?
I need a new ecu anyway because I have an auto pr3, so thats one thing that im gonna have to buy....im really leaning towards obd1 unless someone has tried o2 sensors in these locations with obd0

on the obd0 cars it is best to place them 10-12 inches of the exhaust port and in the correct runner for best performance and mileage
