Default k24 power

I just got a nice bonus check from work and got the motivation to start working on the accord. I have a 7th gen k24 accord lx with a 5 speed. It has a decent amount of torque it just needs more horsepower. What I'm thinking is getting a k20a2 head porting it out and putting toda spec n2 cams and valve springs with a hondata ecu. I know people have been doing this (the k24 frankensteins at least) but I would like to know how reliable they are and how to rev them higher reliably. Also, I'd like to know if any of the valves would smack because of the longer stroke and more aggressive cam. If it doesn't seem worth it would a tsx head seem more plausible? I would really like to hear from people with first-hand experience. Thanks in advanced.

edit: has anyone done a rear drum to disc conversion with honda oem parts on a 7th gen yet?

I wanted to do this as well, I don't know much about the differences between heads, but i'll still bump because it's something I wanna know about too.

the k20a2 head is a more higher flowing, higher revving head. i've heard of people putting them on the tsx k24's and on the accord k24 bottom ends, and i've heard they are about as reliable as an ls/vtec since the k24's have such long stroke and such a crappy rod/stroke ratio and don't want to rev too high. i really don't want to drop any cash on a tsx motor or head, i'd rather just keep the stock block and slowly build up/port the head then transplant it when i have a free weekend. unfortunately no one really has any first hand knowledge when it comes to k24's. but i'll keep you posted.

yeah you cant run a k20a2 head on a k24a4 accord unless you change your pistons and rods to Aftermarket or CRV or TSX.
