Default Alternator Belt

Yeah i know this is a nub question but id rather know what to do then go messing with it. My alternator belt is screetching and i need a new one can you tell me how to replace it. Thank you

there's an adjuster/tensioner that the alternator attaches to. Unbolt this and move alternator so belt will be loose. Then take out belt and put new one on. Move tensioner back and screw it. Make sure the new belt's play is within spec. Not hard at all.

Just the belt? Very easy. Follow civic_driver's steps and youre done.
