My gf just bought a 92 civic hatchback dx a few days ago and before she got the car she got a deal on some motegi rims and some tires for $190. A friend told us they might rub- here are the specs.

(3) falken 205/40z 17
(1) Ventus HR2 205/40r 17

I dunno the name of the rims, ive tried looking for some pictures of them but they are motegi's and they are a 8 spoke design. Our main concern is rubbing issues. We'd appreciate the help, thanx

whats the offset for the rims???

 

I dont think the car is lowered in any way, as far as offset goes i have no idea, how can i tell? I tried looking for these rims all night and couldn't find anything on them, I found a 8spoke design but it wasn't the right rim. My search continues. All we need are some lugnuts and were gonna try them on, if not they are going up for sale

 

thats what i ran on my car and it only rubbed when i loaded mycar with people, if it was just me and 1 passenger it didnt rub. and my civic is lowered on eibach sportline springs.

we put the rims on yesterday morning, gave the car a better look. We still need to work some things out since its her project car. The guys we bought it from had it so ghetto rigged its unbeleiveable. Anyways thanx guys.
