I haven't been on honda-tech for a while, but I still respect most everyone here so as always, h-t gets first dibs on anything I'm selling. Eventually this will go on eBay if nobody wants it.

I need to sell my DVD receiver, it's been fun and all, but I really need a tennis ball machine and this is barely being used. The lowest price I could find for it on pricegrabber.com was $994 shipped, the lowest on ebay was $785 shipped, and this unit is used.

It's still in perfect condition, everything plays just fine, the motor is still as strong as ever, not a scratch on it. It's been installed twice, so the wires although still ridiculously long, have been cut. I kept the extra wiring so splicing from trunk to dash is not a problem. I lost the remote, remotes on ebay go for about $10. I have been very **** about who touches this thing and how it is used. Example, friend's girlfriend went to touch the touch-screen with her toe and she got smacked! This unit has been [golem]my preeecious[/golem].

I purchased the unit in December of 2004 as a present to myself for $900, brand spankin new. It's the second model in the Kenwood Excelon line-up. The first model doesn't have the display screen. If you have a disc with music or movies on it, this thing will play it! DVD, VCD, DVD-MP3, CD-MP3, CD-RW, DVD-RW, you name it. It has so many options I wouldn't be able to get into all of them on here. Let's just say it gets down to changing the backlight colors of the display and the keys, mixing and matching 3 different colors. The display is very nice. It has the no-glare screen so if you have it open in mid-day traffic you're not gonna go blind
