So 16" MF-10's, a 50mm off set would be good? How about the 43mm offset they sell also. If you are not happy with it you can put a 5mm spacer also.

The car is dropped about 1.5". What is the ideal offset for 16s,17s and 18s?

50mm offset 16" rim will fit a 225/40 ZR 16 tire (any wider and it will rub suspension) - although I have seen 225/50 Hoosiers on Type Rs with rolled fenders and spacer rings)
43mm offset 16" rim will fit a 215/45 ZR 16 tire (any wider and it will rub fender)
