Default Question about Accord iPod installation

Hello, as you can tell I'm new here. I tried to do a search for "iPod" but it said the search database is currently down. Also, I didn't see anything mentioned in the FAQ thread. Anyway, here it goes. I recently purchased a 2005 Honda Accord EX V6. I own an iPod that I used in my last vehicle through the use of a cassette adapter. I want to continue using my iPod in my new Accord. I was looking around on Crutchfield's site and found this little baby: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-s...+spec

My question is will this adapter in fact work with my Honda factory radio? In the description it says it's for Honda models 1991 and up, however, when I search for components compatible with my vehicle this item isn't in the list. I can only get to it by searching for all iPod factory radio adapters. Does anyone else have one of these? I was looking around and it seems that the device works by plugging into the CD changer input on the back of the radio. So this means the 6-dsic CD changer that came with my vehicle will no longer be operable correct?

I just want to make sure this thing is compatible with my vehicle before I buy it. Any help you could provide this newbie would be great. Thanks.

You can check here for adpts. http://www.soundgate.com/ or here http://www.pac-audio.com/ or maybe here http://www.blitzsafe.com/ they all make AUX inputs for OEM HU some allowing you to continue to use the multi-disc changer. As you car is a 05 you may have to contact them to confirm the adpt. will work in your car. 94
