17s on an EK
i have some arospeed rsgt right now and they are 17' i bought the rims because i got em for a super cheap price but the thing is will it look good on an ek? this is how i plan my ek to look like http://viewmorepics.myspace.co...00430 and i plan to lower and everything but will 17s look good on an ek?
I think they'll look fine. I have 18's right now (still trying to get my 16" enkeis) and they look good with the body kit (I'm a ricer, so what?)
Are they chrome or painted?
edit: BTW, its your car. You're the one that has to come outside and look at it before you get into it. What HT thinks is not important because if its not a set of 15" rotas the masses won't like it.

Just put them on there and screw what everyone else thinks. You may run into rubbing issues, though.
Put them on, see how you like them, and if you like them and there are no rubbing issues keep them. If they rub or you just don't like them for whatever reason sell them.

I wouldn't go past 16. Its not really good to ask a question about looks because people have different opinions. I say if you like it, do it. Roll you fenders and roll on some dubs. Who cares what we think.
I have 17's and I love them

Enkei RF-1 w/NT555 205/40-17 ZR and 1.5" drop.
The overall diameter of OEM 14's w/tires and aftermarket 17's w/tires is almost identical (no more than .25" difference). You just have to make sure you don't go too wide.

Try less tire and less roll. Should handle better. I know my 17's did. but most of them are too heavy. My 17's were light, yet they were still almot 17 lbs/pc. Still too heavy.

JGTC is a totally different story, they need the large wheel diameters to fit those massive brakes, plus extremely wide tires for better grip. I dont think the size matters to much saying they have 500ish horsepower. So i wouldnt compare a jgtc car to a street car.
Those 17s will prolly look solid so try it out

Yeah, I myself want some lighter 15's or 16's for my EM1, but I will also say that my friends '94 coupe looks really good with 17" konig verdics and a 1.5" drop

So basically you are saying that having larger rims and less tire is worse for cornering on the streets because we don't all have 500 hp?
I think not.

Im damn near sick of 15" Rotas. Not only can you find them on hondas/acuras...a guy in my area put 15" slips on his DODGE NEON!
Im leaning away fron that crowd and gonna get me a set of 17's. RH C5's are what im feelin again!
