??H22A in an Acura?? CAN IT BE DONE??

Default ??H22A in an Acura?? CAN IT BE DONE??

EY WUT UP YA'll.. i have a 92' Accord with a 93' H22A1 v-tec and all the goods..im going to get sponcered to turbo charge an Acura by the shop im working at. Imma buy me an Acura but i had a crazy idea of rebuilding my motor.. and working the internals.. but the crazy part is dat i wanna put it in an Acura?? can it be done?? well i kno it can be done.. but will it fit?? or is it too big? i dont want to do to much custom.. takes lots of time and ALOT OF $$.. dey are only going to sponcer me for the Turbo. not the customizing and body work.. well SOME ONE HELP ME OUT!!! b4 i sell my car..

you can put it in Acura TL it's the same as putting it in an accord. Wouldn't recomend it if you want to go fast

u can get a snail for cheap. sleeving a block costs more than a snail unless you're going to get a watercooled bb turbo.

all they're giving u is 500 dollars. for a turbo setup set right, you need 4000 or so. you need dyno time, a tuning device, building ur bottom end, etc

wuts a snail? i never heard of that before... well der ganna do the labor and provide the kit.. but i wanna be pushin hard.. not too hard cuz i kno thats alot more $$ but a nice street hard.. but do u kno it it will fit in the integra?

this has been said many times before and will b said many times after, anything will fit with the proper modifications and a nice bank account. if your goin turbo, why are u wanting to swap out the motor? why not build the stock motor and turbo that? probably will end up being a lot cheaper and with the right build and right psi you can get plenty of ponys

First off what car. like do you want to put it into an integra. yes it will fit get mounts, axles, shifter, and linkage.

anything else is custom

Lol of course they are man. Have you never looked under the hood of a Acura? The motor will Honda stamped on it....In Japan, there's are no Acura's, they're all consider Honda

yeah i was thinking about building the stock motor.. but i kind of want to go a little differnt from all the other integras.. i havent seen an Integra with an H22 around here.. i dont wanna be another Intregra out der with a B18... i look at it like dis.. how can i go down from a H22 to a B18... if i can be different from all thos others.. i'll do it..

he was being sarcastic...

and yes you can put a h22a into an integra. if you really want to do this, go into the hybrid forum and search around. I believe "ozzyman" on this board has a h22a turboed integra. you should PM him.
