Default 9006> 9005 conversion...

the search server is down right now.. and i was wondering how do you make it so 9005 bulbs can fit into the headlight socket. do have to shave down the 2 plastic pieces sticking out inside the plug? how would i go about doing this? it seems so hard to fit into the small area.. any suggestions?

If you're using 65w instead of 55w, it wont be aproblem, i'm running 65w HiR bulbs, but if youre running an 85 w bulb in a 55w socket, you'll be in **** soon.

no you wont melt the reflector.

get an Xacto knife. they have smaller ones that will fit in there, and will cut that down. if you dont want to buy a knife, a razorblade will work, but be careful not to cut youreself
